Développée par ANATOMICA à partir d’un last (forme) entièrement original, cette sneaker iconique est le fruit de douze prototypes successifs, témoignant d’une recherche approfondie du confort et de l’équilibre.
Inspirée des chaussures orthopédiques, elle adopte une forme asymétrique caractérisée par un intérieur droit et un extérieur incurvé, favorisant un alignement naturel du pied.
Le maintien s’effectue principalement au niveau de la voûte plantaire, tandis que l’avant du pied bénéficie d’un espace volontairement plus long (toe allowance). Cette conception permet d’éliminer toute pression sur les orteils et d’offrir un confort sans contrainte. La pointure idéale est celle qui procure une sensation d’espace à l’avant tout en assurant un bon maintien de la voûte plantaire.
La fabrication repose sur un procédé vulcanisé, aujourd’hui peu utilisé, qui consiste à presser l’empeigne en toile et la semelle en caoutchouc sans couture. Cette méthode confère à la chaussure une souplesse et une sensation proches de la marche pieds nus.
Il s’agit du tout premier modèle slip-on de la ligne WAKOUWA, pensé pour un usage quotidien naturel et intuitif.
